ALL THE STARS (AND SHOES!) AT THE CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SS ’23 PRESENTATION IN PARIS

Attendees spotted the line for the Spring/Summer ’23 show, and as expected, it was a smorgasbord of glitter, satin, starburst jewels, and XXXL stilettos. To ensure the productions had ample time in the spotlight, they were performed on 13 dancers who performed on a purpose-built, heart-shaped, light-up bridge featuring the brand’s iconic Scarlet tint.

Of note is the new Lipstrass heel, which transforms Christian Louboutin Beauty’s signature lipstick into a jewel-like heel, meticulously embellished with nearly 700 sparkling rhinestones. “I’ve always been fascinated by the dancers and the people on stage. These women perform in gorgeous costumes, in high heels, and descend dizzying stairs with elegance,” Louboutin explained the inspiration behind the show.

Attendees including Cindy Bruna, Ashley Graham, Charli XCX, Ashley Park, Ivy Getty, Morgan Stewart, Chriselle Lim, Mary Leest, Jessica Wang, Pritika Swarup, Young Emperors and CT Hedden enjoyed the music of French songstress Vendredi Sur, adding to the atmosphere Adding to the atmosphere is Mer and of course the stunning unrivaled view of the Paris skyline. Those who tuned in to the live stream at home were also invited to receive a free POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) designed by the brand to prove their virtual presence at the event via NFT.
