Ye’s remarks were almost deafening ahead of his highly-secret Collection 9 show at Paris Fashion Week this evening, but the chatter turned to outrage when the rapper and mogul showed up wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with the slogan “White Lives Matter” . Several of the models wore similar outfits on the show, which, according to Vanessa Friedman, had an image of the pope on the front. (One Twitter user reported that one of the models was Lauryn Hill’s daughter, Selah Marley.) He told the crowd: “You guys can’t control me. It’s an uncontrollable situation,” while also referring to himself as a “leader.” . According to Page Six, Ye’s series also references his ex-wife’s 2016 Paris robbery, his highly publicized fallout with Gap, and his former manager, Scooter Braun. The backstage image below also shows Ye posing with Candace Owens, a controversial far-right provocateur known for his extremist beliefs.

Victoria’s Secret’s first-ever Undefinable campaign is here

For the new Undefinable campaign, Victoria’s Secret enlisted a little help from VS Collective partners Adut Akech, Bella Hadid, Eileen Gu, Hailey Bieber and Valentina Sampaio, along with Bethann Hardison, Brittney Spencer and more. Conceived by Raúl Martinez, the brand’s executive vice president and chief creative director, to usher in a new era for the lingerie giant and deliver on its promise to win championships for all. Industry legends are also on speed dial as it is directed and filmed by Harley Weir and designed by Camilla Nickerson. Martinez explained in a media alert: “The Undefinable concept was created to really solidify our brand positioning and our commitment to revolution and transformation. This special campaign transcends a single season – it’s about our ongoing commitment to celebrating all The promise of women and every unique layer that makes them who they are. We’re not here to prescribe how beauty should be defined for anyone, but to celebrate how they define beauty the way they want.” Also, the mission is still going on behind the scenes. Last year, VS pledged $25 million in investment in women-owned and women-run businesses through its emerging venture platform VS&Co-Lab and a partnership with AmplifyHer Ventures, and pledged $10 million annually to fund key causes, including the establishment of The Victoria Secret Global Women’s Cancer Fund.
