After a month away from the blog, I’m back! I’m glad to be back because sharing constantly on instagram is a bit of a chore for me. I love the process of sitting at my desk, editing photos on my laptop, sharing more than 2 lines or words, drafting blog posts, linking back to partner sites and creating something bigger and better than a faint Instagram post. Does anyone else feel this way? For me, every blog post I create is a little kid for me – it takes planning, thought, real work and always comes with a part of me (and it’s never planned).

Back to the lovely new Indian costume look I’m sharing with you today – I recently went to Hamila for a weekend getaway and decided to photograph this lovely outfit for you while I was there. I don’t know what it’s like to be in Punjab – I always feel more comfortable dressing up, especially in Indian wear, rather than throwing on jeans and a t-shirt like I usually do.

A lot has happened in the past month, I’ve been away from the blog – have planned a lot of trips – a family vacation to Corbett with the newly opened Lebua, Sri Lanka with Naina in January, and Goa and Phuket with my girlfriend in February. Goa and Phuket together at the end of February anniv because direct flights have started from there and it’s very easy and impulsive. More trips are being planned and I’m excited. I barely traveled in 2018 because I made a conscious decision to stay and work as much as I could (I was a bit greedy to make more money). But then I realized my sole purpose for making money is to travel, so avoiding doing that just for the same purpose would be pretty silly for me. So here I am breaking the cycle and traveling more – paisa toh banta rahega (the money will keep getting earned)
